a few photos of the completed guard / bridle that I built for the purpose of
protecting the vane
and towing a Jordan Series Drogue.The
guard should be good for 18 to 20,000lbs line pull
from the drogue with the gate closed.
I think that if I had realized what I was getting myself into when I conceived
that project
I probably wouldn’t have ever started it but I am glad now that it is
done.
